Prepare for Licensure in Your Field
At Vanguard University, our Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health prepare graduates with the skills and training needed to seek licensure in their fields.
Offered on campus or online, the M.A. in Clinical Psychology is approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of California.
For nursing professionals, the Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health qualifies graduates to apply for a nurse practitioner license from the California Board of Registered Nursing and take the national certificate exam for the psychiatric/mental health specialty from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
